Carer Badge is run by TRG Digital Ltd, a care-sector digital company that also runs CareStream training and Hello Hattie.
Why we built it
Good carers spend hours applying for jobs, and care employers spend heavily on adverts to reach them. Plenty of those adverts reach people who live too far away, can’t drive, or can’t work the hours.
We flipped it round. Carers and nurses build one profile, for free, that says exactly what they do, where and when. Employers search for the people who fit, and ask to talk. The carer decides.
Who runs it
Len Burgess, who leads TRG Digital Ltd, has worked in nursing homes and care homes for a number of years, and in digital for more than twenty. The same team runs CareStream, the care training platform that provides the free Care Certificate course.
