For agencies, care homes and nursing homes

Stop waiting for applicants. Search for them.

Carers and nurses build verified profiles saying what they do, where and when. You search the ones who live near your service and ask to talk.

Ask to talk

In your account, “Ask to talk” sends a text to the carer. Only a yes shares their name and contact details.

How it works for you

Ask to talk. The carer says yes.

  • Search anonymous profiles near your service
  • Searching and viewing profiles is free
  • Send a request with the role, hours and your message, using one contact credit
  • The carer gets a text and an email, and accepts or declines. No reply in 14 days and the credit comes back
  • When they accept, you get their name, mobile and email

You’re competing with 28,661 registered care employers in England for staff. Reaching people before they apply elsewhere is the difference.

Questions

Questions employers ask

Who can search?

Home care agencies, care homes and nursing homes registered with the Care Quality Commission. We check every employer against the CQC register first.

What do we see?

Each profile shows the person’s role, rough location, how far they’ll travel, the settings they want, the care they’re experienced in, when they can work, whether they drive and their training. Names and contact details are shared only when the carer accepts your request.

What does it cost?

Searching and viewing profiles is free. When you want to talk to someone, you send a request, which uses one contact credit. We text and email them your service name, the role and your message. If they don’t reply within 14 days, you get the credit back. Registering is free and doesn’t commit you to anything.

Is search open in my area?

We open search area by area, once at least 10 carers and nurses with confirmed profiles are within 20 miles of your service. Until then you can sign in and see what’s coming, and we’ll text you the day it opens. You won’t be asked to buy credits before then.

Do you check references and DBS?

No. We confirm mobile numbers and email addresses, and check nurses against the NMC register. You still carry out your usual pre-employment checks, including DBS, references and right to work documents.
