Finding home carers in a young, growing borough

Thurrock's care market is overwhelmingly home care, so recruitment comes down to finding people who can cover rounds around Grays, Tilbury, South Ockendon and the smaller places in between. The borough's population is younger than average and grew quickly between the last two censuses, which means a larger working age pool than many parts of Essex, but also plenty of competition from other local employers.
